The DAV4 III project promotes the V4’s defence collaboration efforts by publishing an in-depth report identifying opportunities in the field of industrial co-operation and joint acquisitions; and a shorter policy brief on collaboration in the field of military education.
As a follow-up to the highly acclaimed report “Central Europe fit for the future”, CEPI and its partners will focus in the project on digital economy as the driver of systemic change and new source of economic growth in the Visegrad countries.
The project examines how Central Europe can best position itself in the current redesigning of EU integration.

In Slovakia, the defence budget decreased by 27 percent since 2008 even though the economy grew by five percent in the same period. Many capabilities are on the edge of survival and cannot be sustained beyond this decade without major investments.
